Vision

We believe our job is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, regardless of age. We certainly like to have fun, but our primary goal is that the youth would increase in the knowledge of God and intimacy with Jesus.

Meetings include practical Bible teaching with a small group time to discuss and apply what we're learning. We also have a worship time where the youth are encouraged to deepen their love for Jesus. Individual prayer and ministry is always available.

We love to challenge youth to be leaders in their generation, and we give opportunity for them to be leaders in High Calling as their gifting and maturity allows.

 

theCore is a group of youth that meets for deeper study and understanding of God's Word. They meet Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Contact Pastor Matt at mattgirden@gmail.com for more information on this group.

Youth Rules
 
1.    Stay in the sanctuary during worship/teaching. 
2.    Stay in the building unless an assistant leader has approved your leaving during
       the youth meeting. 
3.    The meeting ends at 9PM, although we may continue to worship after
       9PM. Please feel free to leave reverently any time after 9PM.
4.    Remember that loud talking and "horseplay" in the lobby can be heard in the
       sanctuary. Be respectful of others.
5.    Respect those who are speaking and in authority.
6.    No coupling at youth, youth functions, or church functions. This means not doing
       anything that a “couple” would do.
