Kids on the Rock and the Kingdom Club are the Children's Ministry of Church on the Rock Melbourne under the leadership of Pastor Greg and Chris Phillips.

Each week The Kids on the Rock/ Kingdom Club provides programs and activities that are age appropriate for your children. Using cutting edge technology and resources that motivate, inspire and equip children, Pastor Greg, his wife, Miss Chris, and their crew serve our children by imparting a healthy knowledge of a relationship with Jesus. The Kids on the Rock/ Kingdom Club has been designed as a consistent, creative, compassionate program where children are being trained to live out their faith and to fall in love with Jesus.

We include small group "hands on" learning experiences and large group worship events that relate to the world of our kids. Programs are offered for all children. Loving, trained workers care for and lead children into a greater understanding of God's Word and His plan for their lives. The children are taught that a loving relationship with Jesus is an active thing.

 Ages 0-1 Meet in the nursery located off the main sanctuary

Kingdom Treasures

 Ages 2-4 Both younger groups join the Kingdom Seekers in the Kingdom Club after check-in. They will participate with the "older" kids for Pastor Greg's Parable, Praise and Worship, Offering and Story. They will then return to their classrooms for their age appropriate lessons, video, snack and recreation time.

For over 20 years, The Kids on the Rock/ Kingdom Club has featured Pastor Greg and Miss Chris and their team of parents and teenagers that sow righteousness into the lives of our children. The Kids on the Rock/ Kingdom Club uses high tech sound, lights, video, object lessons, puppets, and more to exhort, train and help our children grow in love with Jesus. The ministry explodes with both live and recorded sound as young people learn the meaning of worship and praise.

Pastor Greg’s background is in the dramatic arts (acting, directing and technical production).  He has traveled widely in the United States performing and lecturing as well as leading evangelistic crusades and conferences.

 

Other Ministry Opportunities for Kids...

Casa Verde Ministries

Pastor Greg leads a missions trip to our feeding program in Peronia, Guatemala twice a year. He trains the team to perform, serve and minister in one of the poorest parts of Central America. Pastor Greg takes children who have participated in other ministry activities or have a parent willing to travel with their child.

Circus Bzerkus

Children are trained by Pastor Greg and Miss Chris in many circus and performance skills. From unicycles to stilt walking, juggling to skits, dramas, puppets and clowning to Stomp-like drumming and cartooning...Circus Bzerkus travels the neighborhood and the world presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a fresh and dynamic way. Special Events

Watch for specially designed events for kids and families scheduled periodically throughout the year. In the past we have enjoyed Kids Camp, Family Crusades, Fall Festivals, Easter Egg Rolls, Kids Prayer Events, Kids Revivals and special guest speakers to uplift and encourage our kids and families.
