Monte Hancock
Monte Hancock, Chief Scientist for Celestech, and Program Mentor for the MS in Computer Science for the Webster University Space Coast Region, will be included in the 2011 Edition of Who's Who in America.
In addition to his research in machine cognition, Monte is a Session Chair for the 2010 International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics, where he will be presenting a paper on cognitive overload in user interfaces. He has just begun work on a second book.
Bobby Abbott
Congratulations go to Bobby Abbott who received The "President's Education Award" in recognition of "Outstanding Academic Excellence." Bobby attends Palm Bay Community Charter School and received the award on May 11, 2010.

Chief Scientist for Celestech, Inc., and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science for Webster University has been appointed a Session Chair for the 3rd International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics, to be held in Miami, Florida, July 10-12, 2010.
Monte's two-hour session is a presentation and panel discussion devoted entirely to work in cognitive ergonomics done by the international Project Sirius, which Monte founded and leads. The Project, which includes members from the US, Canada, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, consists mostly of young researchers just beginning their scientific careers. "I formed the team to help young researchers get published", said Hancock. "There is no more satisfying way to advance science than by advancing young scientists."
Monte has lived in Melbourne, Florida since 1982.

Chief Scientist of Celestech, Inc., and Computer Science Masters Program Mentor for Webster University's Space Coast Region, has been appointed to the reorganized Computer Science Advisory Board of the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). FIT is a private university offering the BA, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science.
The Board, which is composed of technical leaders in high-technology companies on the Space Coast, provides recommendations on a broad range of issues in joint meetings with the Computer Science Chairman and faculty.

Thomas Nelson announces first fiction from country music superstar Sara Evans
Nashville, TN—Platinum-selling country recording artist Sara Evans will publish her debut novel with Thomas Nelson later this year, having signed a four-book deal with the publisher. The novel is the first in a series and will release in conjunction with a new album by Evans on RCA Records.
